Community Involvement

Sri is an active member and has sponsored many NAHREP events. NNAHREP is the Voice for Hispanic Real Estate® and proud champions of homeownership for the Hispanic community in and around Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Our NAHREP® OKC Chapter provides community outreach, industry educational and business networking events thanks to the gracious contributions of our OKC Chapter Board of Directors, members and NAHREP® OKC sponsors.

Sri is a member of the Greater OKC Chamber a strong collection of businesses across this ten county region; one voice united behind a single pursuit: a better Oklahoma City. Our goals are simple: We help businesses succeed in Oklahoma City. We work to create a business climate that attracts new investment and enhances growth and expansion opportunities for existing companies.

Sri is a member of The Greater Oklahoma City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce founded by a group of Hispanic entrepreneurs on June 12, 2000. The purpose of this organization is to promote the advancement of the commercial and economic interests of Hispanic-owned businesses, Hispanic-managed businesses, and the Hispanic-oriented businesses, trades and professionals in central Oklahoma.

Sri is a member and sponsor of The Oklahoma Malayalee Association, OMA, is a secular, no-partisan and non-profit making organization established in 1995. OMA aims to promote social and cultural integration of Malayalees in Oklahoma and foster and promote cultural heritage of India in general, Kerala in particular.

Since its inception Sri has served on the board and most recently as President of the Board for the India-US Chamber. The mission of our Chamber, “To promote, advance, and support business activities locally and with businesses in India in the areas of Networking, Advocacy, Recruitment, Education, Research, and Trade”.

Since it’s inception in the early 1990’s, Sam and his family have been active members and served on many different committees for the Gujurati Samaj of Oklahoma (GSO). GSO is a collective of the Gujurati community located in and around Oklahoma City. Our goal is to preserve our culture by bringing Gujurati families together and building strong unity within our local community. We help educate our youth about their culture and beliefs. GSO is here to help the Gujurati community network and collaborate for a brighter tomorrow!

Sri has been a strong supporter and sponsor for Class Matters. The primary concerns of Class Matters are our mission, our youth, and fulfilling our vision. Class Matters vision is to “Empower Our Future, One Teen at a Time.” Class Matters is dedicated to the academic encouragement, professional, and cultural development of our conference attendees, as well as the development of ethically sensitive and responsible persons. Class Matters aims to develop and refine socially disadvantaged youth’s professional and social skills to endeavor in the promotion of the socially disadvantaged students majoring in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) related fields.
